I write memoir stories under the VitalyBook name. They are drawn and written in the same plain voice as everything else I make: true events, a small smile, no lecture.
The books are VITALY: The Misadventures of a Ukrainian Orphan and the forthcoming memoir Green Card, Gold Ring. You can see the first panels of the story on the journey page.
